About

Katrina Dalli was born in Malta in 1999. Dalli is an expressive artist and illustrator who works in mixed media and likes to challenge the viewer through her activist approach. In 2022, she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts, and in 2023, she completed her MA in Sequential Design/Illustration at the University of Brighton.

Dalli’s work is inspired by the world around her and her experiences, such as her prints about the meat industry and her drawings of everyday life. She works in various mediums including printmaking, digital work, collage, and drawings; making use of colour and texture. 

She has worked for a UK indie band The Othyrs designing their logo and album cover, amongst other private commissions.

In 2019, Dalli participated in the MCAST ICA festival at Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta. In 2022, Dalli had her photography work exhibited at Kuncett, Valletta. In that same year, she participated in the final year exhibition at MCAST, with her work being displayed at Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta. In 2023, Dalli took part in the exhibition for her MA graduate show, at the University of Brighton, City Campus.

Recently, her work has been featured in the Malta Community of Illustrators yearly annual magazine which was shown at the Malta Book Festival in 2023.
